Pornography: None left Innocent, Part 1

This will be the beginning. First off, remember the figures here.
40 % of children are exposed to porn, and that only covers the internet. To be realistic would be to discuss porn on all mediums, and just as a guess I would wager that the statistics would point to 70-90% of children being exposed to acts of "Illicit Sex".

One of the things I hope to show with the gathering of articles on the subject of illicit sex is how pervasive it is and that it's pull and sway has, at least at times, been upon MOST of society. Will I be able to prove this here? I doubt it. But maybe we can begin here.....
By the way, we are looking for an article that was published in mid 2006, maybe in AdBusters magazine. It was on the topic of Pornography, the author spoke of porn bringing the "death of empathy". If anyone is familiar with this please let me hear from you. I am at

As broadband becomes more accessible and access to the Internet grows, children are inadvertently being exposed to pornography, according to a study by the University of New Hampshire released Monday. In a survey of 1,500 youths aged 10 to 17, researchers found that 42 percent reported being exposed to online pornography in the past year. Of that group, 66 percent said they were not trying to find the pornographic material. The survey was conducted from March to June 2005. Among the most common culprits that led to encountering X-rated materials, both accidental and intentional, were peer-to-peer file-sharing networks and the ease of downloading images.
